Yama Sushi. Delicious

My ex-roommate, his girlfriend and I went to Yama Sushi for their all-you-can-eat sushi. And, oh boy, it was delicious. Here are some things that I've ordered:

Started off with appetizer:
Seafood Salad. Spiciness level: mild.

Another appetizer: Soft shell crab w/ squeezed lemon

Pre-main course meal: baked green mussels.

Main course:
Firecracker: Jalapeno shell with spicy tuna and spicy mayo. Spicy!

Man whore: California roll topped with Salmon and a small slice of lemon. Spicy.

Dessert: mochi mango ice cream and a scoop of plum ice cream. Delicious in my mouth.

So worth the $25 I've spent for dinner. I should have gone for lunch where it's $20. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who's searching for a Japanese owned sushi bar (most sushi places here in Vegas are Korean owned).

Oh no!!!

What do you when you're drunk and you need that starch? Steak and eggs baby!

The Orleans' Courtyard Cafe has been my favorite spot for late night dinner, after studying snack and post clubbing sober up meal. Why? Because they have a reasonably priced steak and eggs. Back in the summer of '10 it was priced at $3.49 and served from midnight to 6 a.m. In the fall, it was changed to $4.49 and served from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m.

The other night, I lost to a bowling game. Loser had to buy dinner. Of course, I didn't mind because it was going to cost me as much as half a plate at LAVO. Then the check came and it had a total as much as a plate at LAVO. They increased their price from $4.49 to $6.99. Really?! We ask one of the servers if the price changed and we had a hard time understanding. We picked up: "discontinued, no more" etc etc etc blah blah blah.

Cheap food no more.

Seafood Salad from Yama Sushi

DE-LI-CIOUS!

For only $10.95 you can have a plate of seafood salad that has shrimp, tuna, yellowtail, salmon, and albacore and three levels of spiciness. Mmmm-mmm.Where can you get this? Yama Sushi on Maryland Parkway and Flamingo Road next to China Joes/Albertsons.

All you can eat sushi is reasonably priced at $19.95 for lunch and $22.95 for dinner. Plus, there's no maximum eating time.

Wicked Buffet at Cosmopolitan LV

Deliciously, delicious? Uhm... yeah. Mostly.

The Wicked Spoon buffet doesn't let you binge eat. Meaning, they don't have their entrees in one big bowl with a big spoon for you to put as much food as you want. Square bowls and mini pot pants carry the entrees that varies from salmon, pasta and steaks.

DO:
Eat their salads - it's served in a bowl.
Try all of their steaks!

Get mango flavored ice cream or their coffee heath flavor.

DON'T:

Eat a lot of desserts. Presentation A+, taste...uhmm it's like eating a spoonful of sugar

Get greedy and hoard all of the plates. You're not going to like all of the food so why waste? Bring a friend or two to share plates with.

BOTTOM LINE:

Go on a cheap day in the middle of the week.

She's only 10 and very talented.

But seriously, when you were ten years old what did you do? Played with your Gameboy Color? Razor Scooters? Ate bugs?

But this girl here plays the piano and sings at the same time. It's like a Canadian Alicia Keys but Filipino and ten years old. Lady Gaga released her new single just about 5 days ago. A ten year old already picked up the chords to the song and have the lyrics memorized.

Pure talent fo' sho.
