Before going work, I usually wear my Bostonian dress shoes. But today I was in a hurry and put on my slip-on Vans instead. I didn't want to waste time tying shoe laces and be late for my Advertising/Promotions Class midterm.
I left school still wearing my Vans. Got to work still wearing my Vans. Totally unaware that I was still wearing my Vans, I went to see my supervisor to get my cash can in the vault. She looks down at my shoes and told me I'm wearing inappropriate shoes.
Good thing no written warning for me!
